Addendum Restaurant is housed inside the chic Apex City of London Hotel, on Seething Lane EC3. This elegant fine dining restaurant has been seducing an ever-increasing crowd of gastronomic disciples since its launch at the end of last year.
Renowned for a robust cuisine of hearty favourites, the new menu will not disappoint. Drawing on chef Darren Thomas’s extensive experience and flair for complex flavours, rich dishes remain cleverly light on the stomach as well as the purse. The 2 and 3 course set priced lunch menu changes daily and makes the most of seasonal produce, allowing diners to come back time after time without menu fatigue setting in.
Starters may include delicacies such as rabbit ravioli with carrots and mustard sauce, salad of ceps with potatoes & Jerusalem artichokes, and boudin blanc with apples, sarladaise potatoes and confit shallot.
Main courses range from fillet of lamb with aubergine charlotte and confit garlic, to roasted fillet of bream with coco bean puree and cockles.
For those who simply can’t resist, desserts feature chocolate and ginger cannelloni with hazelnut sponge and chocolate sorbet, vanilla brûlée with green apple sauce and saffron ice cream, and almond and cardamom financier with orange yoghurt sorbet and almond foam.
An extensive wine list along with superb service and glamorous surroundings make this 60-cover restaurant a place to see and be seen. This is an ideal venue to impress whether with colleagues, a partner, informal or intimate.
