grand and dramatic with a huge stained-glass dome, seating 100 in well-spaced, luxurious comfort.

Typical dishes on the new à la carte menu include starters such as Red mullet with couscous and white raisin jus, Open ravioli of escargot with parsley and seasonal mushrooms, and Roast langoustine with chilled tomato and lobster consommé.

Starters begin at £9, main courses from £15.50, and desserts are from £6.50. Main dishes range from Roast guinea fowl with walnut risotto, to Challans duck with confit turnip and cromesquis, to Roast fillet of John Dory with fève cassoulet and cèpe bouillon
