Cantina del Ponte is on Butlers Wharf quayside. It has a huge canopy where diners can enjoy sitting beside the river in warm weather. Inside is simple and friendly, with a terracotta floor and a wonderful mural of an Italian marketplace which runs the length of the restaurant. The food is robust and Italian, full of flavour and sunshine.

Cantina del Ponte is right on the river next to Tower Bridge. The nearest Underground stations are London Bridge and Tower Hill, and it is then a short walk to Shad Thames. It is only 15 minutes from the West End by taxi.
