The emphasis is to fill the gap which the secular clubs has left in the market, and provide for the needs of the local community. Kingsbury is one of the most cosmopolitan areas of Greater London and The Plough Public House, (a disused pub) provided the ideal venue. The structure and the fabric lent itself to being divided into a pub on one side and a restaurant on the other. Working closely with the Punch Pub company, their professional team of designers, architects, and builders, it was agreed to go for a design that was bright, smart, sober, and contemporary. This has been achieved within the time limit, and after a substantial joint investment. Despite all the years of neglect and poor reputation, the venue has been doing brisk business over the last year attracting the regulars as well as guests from as far afield as Scotland. The Restaurant serves Indian Mughlai Food, which is the most popular type of food served in the top Indian REstaurants in Mumbai including Copper Chimney, Bombay Brasserie, Gay Lord Jewel of India and many others. We serve the regular beers such as Carlesberg, Tetleys Bitter, Guiness Stout (Extra Cold as well as the normal), and the Premium Beers such as Lowenbrau, Hoegarden, Stella, Carlesberg Export. We also sell foreign beers such as Cobra,(Indian) San Miguel (Spanish), Peroni (Italian), and Sol (Mexican). Bottled Beers such as Pils and Holstein Fusion. We make mocktails (Non Alcoholic) as well as Cocktails (Alcoholic). We have just celebrated the first year of the opening of the Pub and will soon be celebrating the opening of the Restaurant on the 20th August 2002. We rely on your goodwill, support and constructive comments for our future. Please visit us. We will be privileged to be of service. Directions: |
