La Bodeguita del Medio is an authentic Cuban Mojito Bar and eaterie. The concept is based upon the legendary bar in Old Havana, famous as the birthplace of the Mojito. During the 1940s La Bodeguita was the home of Havana’s bohemian society.

By the mid 20th century La B del M, like a growing church preaching the gospel according to the one and true Mojito, was host to international glitterati and one of the world’s hottest venues - Ernest Hemingway enjoyed many a cocktail here in the company of Frank Sinatra, Spencer Tracy, Sophia Loren, and many other iconic personalities of the era. More recently the likes of Jack Nicholson, Bridget Bardot and Gerard Depardieu have been converted to the Mojito of La Bodeguita. Now at the beginning of the 21st century the Mojito cocktail, first made famous in La Bodeguita del Medio in Havana in the 1940s, has the largest congregation of imbibers of any cocktail in the world.
