The Royal Horseguards,
2 Whitehall Court,
From a morning cappuccino on the Terrace to a sumptuous five-course dinner in One Twenty One Two; at The Royal Horseguards you can enjoy some of the finest food and drink in London, without leaving the hotel,
Winner of two AA Rosettes, our One Twenty One Two Restaurant has made The Royal Horseguards one of London’s most desirable dining destinations. With the hotel near Theatreland, it’s the ideal choice for a pre-show dinner. And in fine weather – which, despite rumours to the contrary is not entirely unknown in London – our Terrace provides a spectacular setting for alfresco dining.
The Lounge is our friendly all-day bar – the perfect place for informal meetings, or a light snack any time. And in the former home of the National Liberal Club, Churchill’s Bar (which you’ll find next door at one Whitehall Place) is named after one of its most famous members.
One Twenty One Two
For almost 80 years, The Royal Horseguards had the Metropolitan Police as neighbours. They moved to new headquarters in 1967, but we’ve never forgotten them – or their famous telephone number, Whitehall 1212, which gives our One Twenty One Two Restaurant its name. Winner of two coveted AA Rosette awards for culinary excellence, One Twenty One Two attracts discriminating diners from around the world. With its inviting piano bar, innovative menus, fine wines and exemplary service, it represents the very best in contemporary dining.
For smaller parties, we have the adjoining Terrace Room, which provides delightful views over the Thames.
Enjoy a drink or a meal on our outdoor Terrace, with the extravagant exterior of The Royal Horseguards – inspired, it’s said, by the chateaux of France - providing a stunning backdrop for your mid-morning snack or your Champagne Afternoon Tea.
