This dazzling restaurant and bar was built on the site of the old Quaglino's, the most famous of London's 'society restaurants'. Two spectacular staircases create a dramatic sense of occasion, sweeping you down to the restaurant with its eight huge columns painted by different artists and a crustacea altar in the distance. The food is diverse and excellent, much as you might expect in a Parisian brasserie, with the addition of modern British innovation.
